The Dudeman

The Dudeman is a long time bassist who has played and recorded with every artist on this site. Dudeman comes from the world of rock and blues but his original country music is heavily influenced by southern rock, he likes to write from the heart, sing about some of his CRAZY life experiences and play his rockin' country music with an edge.

Backseat Driver

Backseat Driver is a 3 piece rock jam band who's music is created and recorded on the spot as they jam with no rehearsals and nothing previously written. Their music has been compared to several different artists such as Pink Floyd, Gary Moore, Robin Trower, Black Sabbath, the Doors and more but its impossible to label them because their songs vary greatly from song to song.

Dimension X

Dimension X was strictly a studio project out of Hampton, Virginia. The music has been described as "neo blue soul" and "blue eyed soul" it has also been compared to Sade. Included are a few songs that go out of that genre along with 2 instrumentals, a Caribbean style tune and even a jazzy sounding blues number.

Hanks Martin

Hanks Martin, who fronts the band is a guitarist, singer, songwriter and recording artist and has long been a staple on the Virginia music scene. Hanks has put together many tribute shows in the past such as Elvis Presley, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggerd, ZZ Top, Roy Orbison, Johnny Rivers and more. He is well known on social media for his daily posts, videos, live shows and stage persona. Hanks has released 8 cds to date. He is a voting member of the CMA (Country Music Association), a member of the VCMA (Virginia Country Music Association) and was nominated for the 2019 VEER Music Awards for country artist of the year. Hanks previous bands include Slick Nickel and Santa Fe, along with several different iterations of the band Hanks Martin.

Dusty Cooter and his dirty possi

Dusty Cooter is another southern rock influenced band out of Chesapeake, Virginia. The band is headed up by singer/songwriter and lead guitarist Tim Dotson. Although most of the songs are heavier than your common southern rock songs, you can still hear the southern twang in Tim's vocals along with the southern rock lyrical content. The songs are bourbon on ice cool and the playin' is well done too. If you dig southern rock, yer gonna dig this!

Brian Wohlschlegel

Brian Wohlschlegel’s guitar riffs, pyrotechnics and special effects are up there with the best in the business. He was a master of controlling his effects pedals attaining sometimes mind blowing results. A founding member of the jam band Backseat Driver, Brian was also a long time songwriter, recording engineer, producer and music video creator. We unfortunately lost Brian a few years back. His wife, family members, band mates and many friends were shocked and devastated. We are releasing some of his many original songs here as a tribute and to let his memory live on forever.
